    FAQ.

    Why should I start karate?

The benefits of karate are awesome! It can bring you physical strength, coordination, balance, flexibility and stamina. All things that you do in your life become a little bit easier because of karate. Karate not only trains your body, but your mind too. This means an improvement in self-awareness, discipline and confidence levels. There are also benefits to tackling all life’s challenges head on because of improved will power.

What do I call the karate teacher?

Instructors are addressed as “sensei.” Sensei is an honoring title in Japanese (often translated to English as ‘Sir’ or ‘Mister’). It means 'teacher'.

Now we're talking about "karate age." In other words, an instructor is someone who has more Karate experience than yourself. Sensei and "Master" are titles that people use to refer to or address another person.

Do I need a uniform to practice Karate?

All students are required to wear a karate uniform to class. All tuition options include the student’s first uniform, so there is no need to buy one.

If there are any issues with your uniform, we should be able to replace it for you at a cost of Rs 600-1000. Female students will also need a white t-shirt worn underneath their top!

How many karate classes are there in a week?

We have classes Monday through Friday. We encourage students to attend all 3 classes per week

What is the best time of year to enroll new students in training?

Grab a spot on our class anytime! We have rotating specials that can be accessed whenever you want. The first course teaches posture and emphasizes improving your body for the long haul.

The next class, they will be a continuing student who will be familiar with some of the to-dos we cover in this session. Our teaching structure and social culture is designed so that everyone- the instructors and our students themselves - are responsible for welcoming newcomers, so you'll have a number of friendly faces to help guide you through your class.

How much is the monthly and annual fee for Karate training?

I want to be able to tailor a plan for you, depending on what makes the most sense for your needs. Give me a call and we can go over your exact situation and make sure that we're getting you just what you need.

Do you need to have previous martial arts or karate experience?

We totally get where you're coming from and for a lot of students, not having any experience does stop them from really excelling. Thankfully we have a lot of tricks up our sleeves to nurture your knowledge, so with some guidance and some hard work you’ll be on the right track in no time!

How often should I practice to become an expert in Karate?

The more you practice, the better you'll get. The classes are a good time to work on your technique but they can't teach you everything. That's why it's important to train outside of class as well. You should then always be able to keep up with the rest of the group that have been practicing at their dojo regularly

What is the minimum age before you can start with karate?

Starting the Martial Arts at the age of 5 can be a great way for children to build confidence and discipline, both of which are crucial to success in life. There is an old saying that says “If you start at five, you’ll never quit.” So if you have a budding young martial artist in your family, we would love to have them try out Karate and see.

"Am I too old to learn karate?" is a common question.

Karate is a great choice for young people and older ones as well. Martial arts is a great way for older adults to stay active and maintain their mental health. Some martial artists may be older than others, but you can't put a number on their wisdom, dedication or experience. And while they may not be as physically strong or fast as some of the younger students, it doesn't mean they can't be just as effective in their art and help others learn.

Will I get hurt if I practice karate regularly?

Since karate is low-contact and provides significant protection for the head, it can be much safer than other popular sports like soccer and basketball.

How long do I need to train before I can defend myself?

Karate practice takes time, so don't expect instant results. You will have to train hard for years before you reach an elite status and even then, there is always more to learn. It's important not to forget that education comes first, so make time in your schedule for homework and other tasks as well.

How often will I be competing in tournaments?

We encourage everyone to join our tournaments, but only if you want to. We also have other training methods (including regular competitions), aiming at helping us improve and hone our skills. Competition is an important part of traditional karate exercise, but not required. More important is the development of the body and mind AND a philosophy to promote peace between individuals.

Why must I Bow when practicing Karate?

Bowing is a gesture of both kindness and respect for another person. If you want to learn karate, it's important to strengthen yourself physically and mentally but also make a habit of putting other people before oneself. Otherwise, it might lead to unnecessary conflicts.

Karate is a culmination of one's mind, body and spirit. As you work towards the skills to hurt someone else, the idea is to teach you kindness through bowing & other forms of etiquette used in martial arts.

Ditch the gym and learn to defend yourself, all at the same time. Get fit and learn self defense techniques with our Karate classes in Faridabad.
